Our initiatives focus on promoting fair practices, safeguarding voters’ rights, and ensuring that every election reflects the true will of the people. Through collaboration with various stakeholders, we work towards fostering a culture of accountability and trust in the democratic system.
To strengthen the network of local and national civil society election observers, while enhancing civic and electoral education to promote informed participation across all levels of society. Actively monitor national democratic processes to ensure transparency, credibility, and outcomes that are broadly accepted by the populace. Collaborate with government bodies and democratic institutions to foster a politically engaged and empowered citizenry, while simultaneously reinforcing the foundations of democratic governance and accountability.
Our overarching goal is to ensure that electoral processes in Sierra Leone are transparent, inclusive, and accountable serving as the cornerstone for strengthening democratic governance and upholding the rule of law.
